Sneak Peek of Watercolor Painting Process
Here’s a quick sneak peek of my watercolor painting process.
I like to work wet in wet, which just means that I wet my paper first, then apply my watercolor paint to the wet surface. I control the shape of the watercolor spreading, by the pattern of water that I put down on the page.
This technique allows for the color to bloom and spread in a tie-dyed look, which works great for my seahorse and Hawaiian fish paintings, and my hearts and everything else I adore!
