Blue Morpho Butterfly: Surrender

I feel safe and secure indoors surrounded by 4 corners of the walls- but I can’t fully breathe until I get outside.

I feel best being out in nature. Having been raised in Hawai’i, my joy is at its highest when I am swimming in the ocean, or walking amongst the flowers, or sitting on a hillside staring at birds.

Inspired by Nature

This newest painting of a Blue Morpho Butterfly was inspired by a special visit to the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. I wrote about it for Neil Young’s website here.
